I refuse to take it seriously. What’s so bad about superficiality? Appearance is everything isn’t it? The artificial is much more reliable than the real after all. There is an absurdity to the mundane that is tragically comic when you think about it on a deeper level, but let’s not do that, think deeply I mean, – then the hysterical laughing would surely descend into a profound sadness.
