‘A visual and emotional response towards the landscape. Visual languages emerge, and uncover a balance with paint. A balance between conflicts, calm amongst the chaotic, line versus form, light against dark, and representation opposed to expression. My paintings are to, not only imitate, but also reflect and evoke. The connection between the visual and emotional response - an experience.
