Lucy Buckley

The work evokes for me a sense of identity coming out of long memory. The dreamlike quality of the works attempts to represent the blurred but unchanging central core around which time passes.

Photography plays a big part in the research process, using old family photographs as well as images of interiors and the urban landscape.

Thesis: How Hollywood film in the 1930's, 40's, and 50's influenced everyday fashion. How the golden age of Hollywood influenced everyday fashion.
