Rachel Mc Donnell

The work attempts to create strange and unsettling environments that play upon our sometimes irrational fears of the unknown.  In the installation I have tried to build an artificial reality which utilizes light, space and texture. The major inspirations for the work include: the imaginative dystopias described in Science Fiction and the possibility of an environmental cataclysm.
